Reader Question:
The man i am currently dating is somebody we came across through the platonic area on Craigslist five several months ago. We at some point talked day-after-day through email and texts. I had crush on him, and then he mentioned he was into chilling out. But the guy never ever asked myself out.
Eventually I confessed I’d a crush on him and then he stated he previously one, too. The guy stated the reason the guy didn’t like to go out is simply because he’s count on problems. Over per month afterwards, he eventually consented to go out, and then we head out about once weekly. But the guy wont tell me his finally name, age or birthday.
What perform these questions have to do with trust? Could that end hook up now being a red flag?

Dr. Wendy Walsh’s Solution:
Dear Cheryl,
this is not a red banner scenario. This guy is getting under a tarp of yellow parachutes. He’s very enigmatic that I even bother about your safety!
i’d like to get this straight. You came across a stranger on the web, you dropped into an email/text crush based on your own imaginations about it man, you hounded him to visit around to you, he offered you a warning about their psychological wellness, and from now on the guy will not also tell you his title!!!
Cheryl, i understand what it’s will desire to feel loved. I know exactly what it’s choose to think about men is fantastic when you’ve gotn’t got much info to go on. You are entirely forgiven because of this woman crush behavior, but, honey, this will be absolutely creepy.
The mommy in myself actually believes he wont provide his last name as a result of just what an online search will unveil â therefore could even consist of criminal conduct. Hint: People who do not trust others often cannot trust by themselves either.
Please you should not see this guy once more unless you’ve gotten his complete name, age, contact information and then have done a criminal back ground check. Really don’t want to see your own image throughout the Nancy Grace program beside me.
